Well , this place has a low rent vibe with it right on bascom avenue and right next to Der Wiener Schnitzel with no inside seating or salsa bar. All the employees were non-typical taqueria types. It didn't inspire confidence. No carne asada or carnitas or anything. But chilli verde was on the menu so I got the super burrito. It was actually delicious although not very authentic. The prices were good too. The burrito was big. They have specials on Tues . I'll go back
This place can't be beat. Parking is ok, they're open late, their combo burritos are tasty, they pack with flavor plus the salsa is flavorful. way better than Taco Bell. Plus they're really fast. After I ordered I didn't even get a chance to sit down and they had my food ready. They use actual real beef and other real ingredients. Pricing is affordable one of the last remaining actual low prices fast food joints.

If you love Tacobell like I do you'll love this place even more! It's how Tacobell used to be made, cooked and seasoned on site. And everything is fully loaded! Loads of meat and cheese on every item. This used to be my go to after leaving the bars but in my older days I still crave it. They have specials during g the week which are tostada Tuesdays and Taco Thursdays. Great spot if you're looking for some cheap and savory eats! They only have outdoor seating and people usually take their items Togo. No frills here you're just there for the food, the seats aren't comfortable and people usually leave a mess after they eat. Regardless you have to try it!
You should be able to tell what you're getting into the moment you see the place. It's like a living time capsule from another era. It's not haute cuisine it's not really authentic, but the hotsauce is actually fairly tasty, to be honest. The employees are pretty friendly as well and if they mess up something on your order you usually get it for free. Again if you want bougie this isn't your vibe, if you want a fat burrito that tastes decent and is overloaded with cheese then you've found your nirvana. Also highly recommend after you eat here you head over to Rasputins new and used record store (literally less than a 5 minute walk away) and support another small business.
